Thing #7

Although the ever changing advances in technology have made certain aspects of life much easier, I still find technology to be frustrating, and at times overwhelming. I have found that some technological innovations are easier to grasp than others, and I usually assume that I will not need the latest electronic gadget or that what is in now is of no interest to me-i.e. the iphone, facebook, my space, etc. I think that this exercise will help me realize that I can use much of the technology that is out there.

#6 My mosaic using Flickr mashups

I had fun choosing pictures of my favorite flowers. The mosaic was easy to create, but I had a lot of trouble sending it to my blog.

I enjoyed exploring Flickr. There were so many neat pictures to look at. Initially I found it difficult to post a picture to my blog, but I kept trying and was finally able to do it.

Things 3 & 4

Although I am extremely behind, I am finally attempting to create a blog. I feel that this is an invaluable experience that I should participate in. I guess I begin by commenting about the tutorial. I found that I can relate to several of the habits of successful learners. Accepting responsibility for your own learning and play are the two habits that I found to be the easiest. Viewing problems as challenges is something that I find a bit more difficult.
